Support Tough Enough To Wear Pink at THE Rodeo of the Year and Beyond!
In honor of Giving Tuesday we wanted to spotlight Tough Enough To Wear Pink, a cause we hold close to our hearts here at the Wine Sisterhood. Tough Enough To Wear Pink, co-founded by original Wine Sister, Terry Wheatley, provides a nationally-recognized campaign and framework for rodeos and western events to help them promote breast cancer awareness and fundraising to benefit their local communities.
More than $24 million dollars have been raised through Tough Enough To Wear Pink, through rodeos and western events across the country and the generous support of sponsors like Wrangler, Montana Silversmiths, Twisted X Boots and Purple Cowboy wines. Their goal is to raise $50 million dollars by the 20th Anniversary of Tough Enough To Wear Pink in 2024.
Later this week, the Tough Enough team is headed to Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo! If you’re in town for the event, here’s where you can meet the team and support the cause:
- Visit the PRCA Committee Convention booth #SP 10 (November 29-December 1) at South Point
- Shop the Tough Enough to Wear Pink booth #6167 at the Country Christmas downtown in its new location at The Pavilions at World Market Center
- Stop by the Tough Enough to Wear Pink trailer at the WNFR Fan Zone
And remember there are a few other ways to support Tough Enough To Wear Pink all year round:
Sip Purple Cowboy wines! A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle of Purple Cowboy wines—Tenacious Red Blend, Trail Boss Cabernet Sauvignon and Rancher’s Reserve Rosé, go back to Tough Enough To Wear Pink. Just remember, Support Pink – Drink Pink (or Purple)!
Shop for pink gear! Stock up on pink gear for the holidays in the Tough Enough To Wear Pink Store. Or, shop special Tough Enough to Wear Pink items offered by some of the cause’s sponsors, including Wrangler, Montana Silversmiths and Twisted X Boots.
