Wine and a Healthy Lifestyle
In addition to the healthy snack pairings in the chart above, we’ll also be sharing tips and tricks for working wine into a healthy lifestyle over the next few months.
As a reminder, this is the USDA calorie content for an ounce of wine:
- Sparkling: 25 calories
- White: 24 calories
- Rose: 21 calories
- Red: 25 calories
A bottle of wine contains 750 ML or 25.42 ounces of liquid, or approximately five 5-ounce or six 4-ounce servings. At an average of 20 calories per ounce, a full bottle would contain approximately 525 calories.
Here’s a run down of a few of the topics we covered last year to get you started:
Cheers to a fit and fabulous 2015!
