Tough Enough Celebrates 10 Years and $20 Million Raised at THE Rodeo of the Year
Purple Cowboy Wines is a part of the Wine Sisterhood family of wines and is a proud supporter of Tough Enough to Wear Pink, an organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness and research. Purple Cowboy is also the official wine of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA)!
The 2014 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is a special benchmark for Tough Enough to Wear Pink. We join them in celebrating 10 years and more than $20 million raised for breast cancer awareness and research!
Tonight, cowboys and cowgirls clad in pink will fill the Thomas & Mack Center, home of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, for this extra special Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night.
“We’re proud to have raised over $20 million since we began 10 years ago. We are proud of the over 300 rodeos and events that participate each year. We are proud of Wrangler, the title sponsor of this campaign. And we are proud of the cowboys and cowgirls who have made this campaign their own,” says Terry Wheatley, Tough Enough to Wear Pink co-founder.

Tough Enough is also thankful for George Strait and the men behind Wrangler for their support of the cause. On Saturday, December 6, Terry Wheatley presented special bottles of 10th Anniversary Tough Enough to Wear Pink Purple Cowboy wines at the annual George Strait TETWP golf tournament at the challenging Cascata golf course in Las Vegas.
Terry presented bottles to those pictured above (from left to right): Robert Lever, Wrangler; George Strait, Super Star!; Phil McAdams, President, Wrangler Specialty; Jeff Chadwick, Wrangler; Allen Montgomery, Wrangler; and Karl Stressman, PRCA Commissioner – in appreciation of their hard work and commitment to the campaign.
