DIY Wine-Themed Holiday Decor
The Wine Sisterhood Team is at it again! We hit the craft blogs and found even more colorful holiday decor for our Wine Sisters.
1. DIY Cork Bottle Stoppers
Dressed to the nines, these holiday cork bottle stoppers are sure to be a hit. They fit perfectly in a stocking or even wrapped up next to a gift bottle of wine. All you need is a 1/8-inch drill bit and some glue to hold it all together. (Via Rachael Ray)
2. Ugly Christmas Sweater Party Wine Glasses
Why leave your wine glass out of the holiday fun? Add some Christmas flair with a touch of humor to your wine glass with this wonderfully ugly Christmas sweater How-To artsy idea. (Via Oh My! Creative)
3. Wine Cork Wreath
The ever-popular cork wreath will certainly clear out the last of your wine cork stash. Did you know wreaths were originally created from cart wheels to teach kids about the meaning of Christmas and also served as the beginnings of the Advent Calendar in Germany? This wreath can serve as a gentle reminder of your year’s adventures in wine. (Via Wine Folly)
4. Wine Bottle Drip Candles
With a nod to the 70’s, these drip candles are just as fresh this holiday season. Mix and match holiday colors for these dripping candles (be sure not to accidently buy “non-drip”!), put them in an old wine bottle and melt away. (Via The Cottage)
5. Itty-Bitty Wine Cork Christmas Trees
Add some more sparkle to your tree with this crafty wine cork project. Make a few extra and tie them around the necks of wine bottles you bring to your next Christmas party as a clever little hostess gift. (Via Kim Bradley on Etsy)
6. Painted Wine Bottles
On wine bottles, of course! The possibilities are endless with this one. All you have to do is pick your favorite holiday words and go to town! Doing it yourself is always fun, but if you’d like to skip the work, we found these and more great crafts on the Reclaim Your Faith Etsy Shop.
Voila! With a little end of the year creativity you, too, can craft your way to new holiday décor. These easy projects, along with many others, are posted on our Wine Crafty Pinterest board.
After you’re through, it just may be time to start collecting those wine bottles and corks again!
